travel and trips

Myanmar has a tropical monsoon climate with three seasons. They are hot season, rainy season and cool season. The hot-dry season is from February to May and the hottest and driest periods are March and April. The temperature can rise above 40 ံC when there is no rain or a little. That’s why Thingyan Water Festival has been celebrating in mid-April every year since the ancient time. The rainy(wet-cool) Season is generally from May to October. Myanmar’s climate also varies with altitude.
The best season to visit Myanmar is the cool-dry season which is from November to February but the fascinating Thingyan Water Festival is worth to participate even though the dates fo the festival are part of the hottest season.
